- Bio: The North Georgia News; Blairsville, GA 30512May 23, 2018; Page 7CMrs. Helen Collins, age 73, of Forrest Circle, Blairsville passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Collins was born on November 7, 1944 to the late Thomas and Ethel Morris Seals. She has been a resident of Union County for the past 14 years moving here from Bradenton, FL.Mrs. Collins was preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond Collins in 2013 and a granddaughter, Lindsey Gibson Lee in 2016. She is survived by one son of Afton, TN; three daughters and two sons-in-law; six grandchildren and one great grandchild. A memorial Service will be held at a later date and will be announced. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to Homestead Hospice in Mrs. Collins memory.Mountain View Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
