Bio: Sharon Cameron, 65, of Thief River Falls, MN, died on Saturday, January 29, 20ll at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN.

Funeral services wee held on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN. Casket bearers include Randy Berg, James Berg, David Holmgren, George Simanouski, Darryl Weber, and Dan Sandoval. Honorary casket bearers include al of Sharon's grandchildren, Dylan, Alex and Daphne. Interment was held at Greenwood Cemetery, Thief River Falls, MN.

Sharon Leigh Peterson was born on December 21, 1945 at Mercy Hospital in Thief River Falls, MN, the daughter of Melford Peter and Doris Thelma (Sevre) Peterson. She was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran faith. Sharon attended elementary school in St. Hilaire, and Lincoln High School in Thief River Falls, MN, graduating in 1963.

On July 30, 1966 Sharon was united in marriage to Bud Cameron in St. Hilaire, MN. To this union two sons were born, Todd and Troy. Following their marriage they lived at Red Lake Falls, MN for a few years and in 1972 moved to Thief River Falls, MN where they have continued to reside.

Throughout the years Sharon worked at several jobs including Johnnies Cafe, Dairy Queen, Arctic Cat and at Northland Foods where she managed the bakery. In 1978, Sharon began working at K-Mart in Theif River Falls, MN. She started her career one month before the doors opened and worked there for the next 33 years most of those years serving as Office Manager.

Sharon enjoyed oil painting, planting flowers, playing bingo, fishing, camping and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her loving husband of 44 years, Bud Cameron; sons, Todd (Jessica Lundberg) Cameron and Troy Cameron; grandchildren, Dylan, Alex and Daphne Cameron; mother, Doris Thelma Peterson, all of Thief River Falls, MN; brothers, Larry (Ruth) Peterson of Rochester, MN; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Melford.

Bio: Doris Peterson, Thief River Falls, MN, age 92 died on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Hillcrest Senior Living in Red Lake Falls, MN. Burial will be held at St. Hilaire Community Cemetery with her husband, Melford.

Doris Thelma Sevre was born on June 7, 1920 in Sanders Township, Pennington County, MN the daughter of Albert and Tilda (Viken) Sevre.

She attended school in the Rux School in Sanders Township and grew to adulthood there.

Doris was united in marriage to Melford Peterson and to this union three children were born, Larry, Gary and Sharon. They made their home in St. Hilaire and farmed near Hazel, MN. After Melford's untimely death, Doris was left to raise her children by herself.

In her earlier years, Doris worked at the Palm Garden Café in Thief River Falls and later was head cook at Oakland Park Nursing Home for 32 years.

Doris enjoyed cooking, playing bingo, going to the casino, and traveling with her daughter, Sharon and her great-grandson, Dylan. They enjoyed many visits to Montana and Wyoming. Doris also taught her grandsons, Todd and Troy how to cook. Doris lived as neighbor to Sharon & Bud and they enjoyed many good times together, and in her later years became Doris's caretakers. After Sharon's death in 2010, Bud & Troy continued to be her primary caretakers.

Doris has lived for the past two years at Valley Home in Thief River Falls where enjoyed many friends and visitors.

She was a member of the Calvary Lutheran Church in St. Hilaire and the Eagle's Auxiliary in Thief River Falls.

Survivors include her sons, Larry (Ruth) Peterson, St. Hilaire, MN, and Gary (Darlene) Peterson, Rochester, MN; son-in-law, Bud Cameron, Thief River Falls, MN; grandchildren, Todd Cameron, Thief River Falls, Troy Cameron, Fisher, MN, Tawnya (Brent) Stroot, Thief River Falls; grandchildren: Terry Peterson, Grand Forks, ND, Darren Peterson, Florida, Lynn Robbins, Washington and Jennifer Sund, Rochester, MN, great-grandchildren, Makenna Sund, Rochester, MN, Savannah Sund, Rochester, MN, Jacob Peterson, Hastings, MN, Taylor Robbins, Wahington, Dylan Cameron, Thief River Falls, Tiffany Stroot, Gillette, WY, Jessica Stroot, Thief River Falls, Austin Stroot, Thief River Falls, Alex Cameron, Climax, MN, and Daphne Cameron, Thief River Falls; sister, Alice Hammer, Billings, MT; and many other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Melford; daughter, Sharon in 2010; parents; and siblings, Gene, George, Sam, Myrtle and Harry.
